Rainbow death

This poem is written from a point of view of most probably a civilian who has witnessed the horrors of the war and how much destruction it had caused to all the commoners who are innocent. The setting of this poem is likely to be during World War Two. The writer used words like 'illness' and 'execrable' to show how pitiful the people are during the war, all succumbing to sickness and the aftermath of bomb dropping and use of toxic gases. I feel that war is a very horrifying thing. However, the worst is the people who started the war. Many of them start a war because of their own benefits and gains. This, in turn, caused innocent people to lose their limbs, lives and their loved ones. These people sometimes feel remorseful about it, and it is shows that they are still willing to repent. However, it is all to late and many have already been traumatized and affected by the war.

I would like to play the role of Boo Radley. Boo is a person that hides himself from the society, a recluse. I would like to be Boo as there were too much racism at that time, and he wanted to escape from it, as it being racist was a bad thing, going against your conscience. I feel that all people should have equal rights, and not be discriminated for their skin colour. If the whites one to prove that they are superior, they should prove it with actions, not by running others down. Boo must have felt upset because there was too much racism in Maycomb and he wanted to run away from it.

The mockingbird lives in a open country with thickets, farmland and desert brush. In Maycomb, one could most probably find greenery such as bushes and trees, and not flowers. Mockingbirds only sing for others with their heart and does not harm anyone. These mockingbirds are present in Maycomb as they represent the blacks, telling the people of Maycomb that the blacks aren't neccessarily all bad and evil people. Mockingbirds also attaacks others only when they get others get too close. They are also trying to say that the blacks would not attack unless when absolutely nessessary and that they are acting only on self-defence, not with evil intentions.

Today, i took the multiple intelligence test. i seen my results and naturalistic and kinaesthetic is my top two intelligence. this is very expected as i am naturally smart. i don't always mug for my tests and most of the time, i get quite good results. i know that i am also kinaesthetic person. i play a lot of sports and i have a strong body. i also excel in the sports i play, badminton. so, the multiple intelligence test was useless, though accurate.
PS: Since there is no assignment for kinaesthetic, i will be doing on intrapersonal.

Today was a totally screwed up day. i had 3 test cramped in 1 day. but it was not too bad in the morning. i got a chance to present the vice-principal with the west-zone champion trophy. it marks a milestone in hci as it is the first time the badminton team won champions for the zonals since the team was created. I had the science test first. it was rather easy as i had been mugging for it for the past few days and have been facing the same notes. then, it was the maths test. it was absolutely horrifying. the questions were so difficult that after i had written the equations, i stoned there, not knowing what to write. then, it was the history test, which was rather easy. that's all the fun for today.

Phew, today is the cross-country run. I, sadly, did not take part, as i have badminton zonal championships tomorrow.Our class only won 1 of the competitive medal. Our class PE teacher had screwed us by putting a random list of people to run and when my friend wanted to hand in the list of competitive runners, he said it was too late. The worst part was when he scolded us for being slow. This is the most pissing part. Another bad thing is the fact that i had stoachache. I had drunk 5 cups of milo. But that was not too bad compared to my friend who drank 9 cups. He had severe stomachache after that. Then, i went to training because i had nothing to do before my tuition. Then, i had my tuition. After that, i did some of my project work. That's all. Cross my finger for tomorrow's finals. Hope to win. (should be first time since the team was created)

Yet another 2 days have passed. Yesterday, was the last match of the 2nd round of the west zone badminton championship. We won,3-2. My match, the second doubles, was the most crucial, for if i had lost, my team would lose. Today, was a very tiring day indeed. I went for tuition, then had training for my upcoming badminton tournament. The entire team is counting on me to win, or i think so. Then, i went to Huang Lin's house to complete the geog project. Phew, what a tiring day. Going to sleep now.
